Isadore: Big Tent Approach Will Help Elect More Dems

Expanding the Cape & Islands Democratic Council’s membership is a great idea. We are, after all, the Big Tent Party. But we’re not just a social club.

The object, as President Bob Isadore explained at the June 24 CIDC board meeting at the Yarmouth Fire House, is electing Democrats.

Membership outreach will be a major focus of his administration, Isadore explained, and one way will be to encourage more members of the Cape and Islands’ various town committees also to sign on with the region’s umbrella organization.
