2nd Annual Masquerade CHAIR-ity Bash
It’s That Time Again!!! We are looking for ARTISTS to make masks and paint, decorate or embellish chairs to be auctioned off at the 2nd Annual Chair-ity Masquerade Bash hosted by the Falmouth Artists Guild at Highfield Hall. VISIT www.outdoorartsfoundation.com/seethechairs.html for chair ideas.
Last year's event was such a huge success, the chairs were amazing, and this is going to be another fabulous event. We have again hired a great DJ, we’ll have a few games of MUSICAL CHAIRS and there will again be psychics on hand to do readings……Tickets and masks will be on sale at the Falmouth Artists Guild after October 1st….. THE EVENT: 7:30-10:30 tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at the door and FREE for artists donating decorated chairs. Masquerade Chairperson is Carlyn Elms. She is in charge of chair sponsors and the bash itself. Nicki Garner is in charge of and chair and mask donations. If you do not have a chair, we will have extras available ready to paint. If you have more chairs than you can paint and want to donate an extra chair to the event, let us know; cal the Guild office at 508-540-3304.
We are looking for Chair Sponsors: $100 gets your business name on a list and on the chair label at the event AND it gives you a good feeling in your heart to know you are helping support Art in Falmouth!! Who do you know that needs to promote their business in an inexpensive and fun way??? CALL THEM to see if they will sponsor a chair!!

The receiving dates and times are: Tuesday September 23, 10am - 3pm, and Wednesday, September 24, 10am - 3pm. If you cannot drop-off during these day-time hours, please call the office at 508-540-3304 to arrange for a drop-off prior to Wednesday September 24. Cranberry Festival Saturday, October 18, rain date Sunday October 17. Call the Guild at 508-540-3304 to sign up to sell your art work, 2 hour shifts. Cranberry themes preferred. Come and paint by the bogs too!
Baseball Art Auction by Falmouth Commodores
Guild artists have created numerous paintings to be auctioned at a Commodore event to raise funds for a new press box. The event date, time and place will be announced on the Commodore website www.falcommodores.org. Artwork pictured is by David Kelley.
