Gov Boosts Re-Elect Bid by Cleon

Let the record show that the night of January 10 at the Yarmouth House Restaurant, before upwards of 120 supporters, Cleon Turner, Democrat of Dennis, announced his intention to run for a third term as a state representative.

And he kicked off his campaign with a high-level endorsement. From His Excellency, Governor Deval Patrick.

The occasion was a $100 a plate fundraiser that had all the trappings of a major league event…big numbers, big names, live music and a very live crowd.

In what was believed to be his first such appearance at a fund-raiser for a very local candidate, the Governor was unstinting in his praise for Turner.
