Presidential Proxies State Their Case...And CIDC Dues Remain Unchanged

The business session following September's General Membership Meeting of the Cape and Islands Democratic Council was brief.
Leslie Steers was elected without opposition as new Mid-Cape
Vice-President to succeed Bob Isadore [see Meet the Veep], with Sheila Lyons of Wellfleet, VP for the Lower Cape moving up as the Senior VP.
And, in part heeding President Jim Mahoney's reminder of the need to recruit younger members, it was decided to hold the yearly dues at $20 for individuals, $35 for couples and $5 for students [see Dues Box on back page, it's getting that time again!].
