Cape Dems To Mark Historic Inauguration

Here and there, Cape and Islands Democrats January 20 will be celebrating the inauguration of Barack Obama as the nation’s 44th president.

There will, of course, be private opportunities to savor this historic moment...plus many formal and informal gatherings.

And those heavily favored and/or extremely hardy will be making individual excursions to our nation’s capitol.

As of our current deadline, two major organized events were on the books.

Here on the Cape, the most elaborate local gathering will be an evening Inauguration Party sponsored by the Yarmouth Democratic Town Committee.
