Patrick Lending AHand In Paré’s Race

It isn’t that often that Governor Deval Patrick gets involved in Cape Cod local politics, but he’s making a doubleheader appearance here this Monday, the 11th.

First stop, and what looms as the more political event, he’ll be featured at a major fund-raiser on behalf of Glenn Paré of Sandwich, who is challenging two-term Republican Jeff Perry in the Fifth Barnstable District.

This function, which carries a suggest- ed price tag of $100, runs 4-6 p.m. at the Hemisphere Restaurant on Cape Cod Bay in Sandwich and the Governor will be accompa- nied by John Walsh, chairman of the MassachusetCommittee.
